Throughout her career, Ruth has blended her talent for PR with her love of storytelling to deliver clear communication for clients in a diverse range of sectors.
With a B.A.(Hons.) in Media and English and a UK post-graduate qualification in Communications, Advertising and Marketing (CAM), she has worked for businesses in London, the Channel Islands and Australia, and has advised clients in a diverse range of sectors. Ruth founded Shine Communications in 2006, and since that time her work has been recognised in both state and national awards as a result of the high-profile PR campaigns she has developed and executed for clients.
Committed to animal welfare and advocacy, Ruth also volunteers her time for numerous animal charities in Western Australia, including The Dogs’ Refuge Home in Shenton Park, where she has executed a proactive program of media relations activity on a voluntary basis for over two decades. She is now a Life Member and Trustee of the organisation. She is also a past board member of national animal welfare organisation Animal Welfare League Australia (AWLA).
